The Latvian North Atlantic Fisheries Association has become the latest member to join Europêche, strengthening the voice of the European sector at EU and international levels.

Daniel Voces, managing director of Europêche said the organisation was delighted to welcome the latest signatory. “Their operational knowledge of the Baltic Sea, along with their active engagement in the Atlantic and international fishing areas, will bring valuable insight and perspective to our collective work,” he said.

“This membership marks a new chapter in our mission to represent the interests of European fishers with a unified and stronger voice.”

On behalf of the Latvian North Atlantic Fisheries Association, Jānis Leja, member of the management board, added:
