A major force in aquaculture services has emerged as Trident Aqua Services, which unites three industry leaders under one name.

Formed through the merger of Intership, Aquaship and FSV Group, Trident Aqua Services brings together over 60 aquaculture vessels and 1,000 employees across seven countries.
“We chose the name Trident because it stands for strength, unity and the sea,” said Ole Peter Brandal, CEO of Trident Aqua Services.
“Three companies merged into one team – ready to move forward together. The name is new, but the people, the expertise and the commitment to our customers remains the same.”
Fully integrated
The new company becomes the first to offer a fully integrated service portfolio covering all key aquaculture vessel types - live fish carriers, harvest boats, feed carriers and service vessels.
Trident is focused on advancing sustainable seafood by reducing environmental impact, enhancing fish welfare and improving operational efficiency.
It aims to streamline aquaculture production through smarter technology and integrated aquaculture services designed for the entire production lifecycle.
“The seafood industry is under pressure,” said Arild Aasmyr, CEO of FSV Group and Trident executive.
“This is more than a rebrand. It’s a renewed commitment to the industry. To keep what works. Improve what can be better. And never compromise on reliability, safety, or fish welfare.”
”We are committed to driving industry excellence through innovation and a deep understanding of our customers’ real-world challenges. Our size allows us to make a real difference.”
The company will retain key hubs in Molde, Hareid and Kristiansund, Norway, while continuing to expand its presence in international markets.
