Carsoe has opened a new service centre at Tromsø Port, supporting Norway’s northern fishing fleet

“Establishing our presence in Tromsø allows us to serve our clients even more directly with spare parts, service and upgrades to ensure reliable processing operations,” commented group service director, Johan Schwerin.

The Tromsø facility will serve as a permanent base for Carsoe’s service engineers, who have been offering support in the area 2-3 days a month for years. The centre has a comprehensive inventory of spare parts and provides a turnkey factory service for Carsoe products, including KM and Holmek equipment.

Tromsø Port is a busy hub for fishing vessels and Carsoe’s new centre will deliver local support to the Norwegian fishing fleet, regardless of equipment manufacturer.

“Service at Carsoe is about being a trusted service partner for fishermen,” said Schwerin. “We provide reliable service to ensure optimal performance every day.”

To celebrate this milestone, Carsoe is inviting customers and partners to an opening reception on 26 November from 2-5pm at Terminalgata 60, where attendees can tour the new facilities and enjoy refreshments prepared on custom-built Carsoe equipment.
