Hampidjan launches global aquaculture firm ELDI

Hampidjan is reshaping its fast-expanding aquaculture portfolio by folding activities from multiple subsidiaries into a single international company, ELDI, which will officially begin operations on 1 January 2026

The move follows a decade of acquisitions – Vonin in 2016, Mørenot in 2023 and Fiizk Protection in 2024 – that pushed aquaculture from a side business into one of the group’s most significant revenue streams.

ELDI will be headquartered in Norway, the world’s largest salmon-farming nation, and will oversee ten subsidiaries around the world.
