Scantrol has received its first orders for the new wireless FishMeter and is ready to deliver.

At the beginning of the year, Scantrol experienced great interest in the wireless fish sampling model from all over the world. Former customers are now requesting the new model - the company says that having a previous positive experience with the other models means that they can see how the wireless FishMeter will be of great use.
The Institute of Marine Research in Lyskil, Sweden and Department of Fisheries and Oceans in Nanaimo, Canada are some of the former customers of Scantrol who have now placed orders for the new model.
"When we get orders like these from earlier customers of the other FishMeter models, it is the best acknowledgment we could get. This shows that our sampling system really is a good investment and that our product is reliable and meets the demands, says Scantrol managing director, Helge Hammersland.
According to the company, the wireless model is aimed at the marine researcher who works out in the field, commercial vessels, fishery observers and fishery inspectors with limited workspace.
