Tunanets' production hall

Tunanets is the most modern netting factory in Turkey and the largest initial investment made in the netting industry not only in Turkey but also in Europe. Tunanets manufactures netting mainly for the fishing industry, but also for the construction and horticulture industry, with its brand new machinery made by AMITA Japan in 2004 and 2005.

Tunanets has a 30t powered steam operated depthway stretching machine which is used in the European fisheries market as well.

Tunanets uses high tenacity Nylon and PE twines procured from selected manufacturers.

Tunanets was awarded the ISO 9001:2000 Quality Assurance Certificate in 2006, the first company in the netting sector in Turkey.

Tunanets is the only active manufacturer member and executive council delegate from Turkey of Eurocord, a lobbying association of European netting, twine and rope manufacturers, based in Paris, France.

Netting manufactured by Tunanets is used in shore fisheries, purse seine and trawl fisheries and also in tuna fishing by Turkish fishermen, as well as in cages as a protective measure for outsiders.

Tunanets' production capacity is approximately 2000kg per day, depending on twine size.
