“In our opinion, Nor-Fishing and Aqua Nor are the most influential exhibitions in the world when it comes to fisheries and aquaculture. We hope that we may be noticed in these industries,” says sales manager, Mr Kei Park.

The company makes ropes for all applications in the fisheries and aquaculture industries, and the company also has an impressive department for research and development.

The MirAcle rope was developed through collaboration with sister company Dong Yang MirAcle.

“Of all our products, fibre ropes and especially ‘MirAcle’ have been the products that have attracted the most attention. MirAcle marks the first time in history that a fibre rope producer has been able to make fibre yarns out of an ultra-high molecular-weight polyethylene”, says Mr Park.

In basic terms, this means that the company is dealing with an extremely strong sub-group of plastics, which Dong Yang Rope has succeeded in applying to fibre ropes. This means that MirAcle is 15 times stronger than steel wire. The innovation has been possible through a very close cooperation between the company’s research and development department, South Korean authorities and local universities.
