Norwegian fishing company Liegruppen Fiskeri AS’s new seiner/trawler ''Nye Liafell'' is making progress, and the hull is being towed to Hellesøy Verft over the festive period for outfitting to be completed.

The hull was completed by Western Baltija Shipbuilding and the new vessel is the sister ship to Liafjord, which was delivered in March.
The new vessel is 64m long and 13.8m wide and nine RSW tanks have been mounted onboard.
Baltija Western Shipbuilding also mounted the main engine, gearbox, steering-propulsion complex, various pipelines and other systems on the trawler.
The plan is that Nye Liafjell will be ready for fishing in August.
Liegruppen Fiskeri fishes for brisling, herring, small sandeel, capelin, mackerel, horse mackerel and blue whiting.
