The current Antarctic II is a Skipstenisk design and the owners opted to return to the Norwegian navel architect for their new vessel, but this will be the first Skipsteknisk design to be built at Zamakona, which has a long track record of delivering both tuna purse seiners and sophisticated RSW vessels.

The new pelagic vessel will have accommodation for a crew of up to 14 and the design process has focused on ensuring optimal flow through the new vessel’s RSW tanks.
