The hull of fishing vessel Herøyhav was delivered from Western Baltija Shipbuilding to Karstensens Skibsværft AS in June.
The overall length of Herøyhav is 69.95m, the breadth is 15m and the depth to main deck is 6.5m. The speed is 16 knots and the maximum number of crew is 12 people.
The vessel is equipped with refrigerated sea water tanks (RSW), with a total capacity of 2,100m3. It has also been equipped with pipeline, cable routes, main equipment and machinery.
A shaft-propeller has been mounted on the vessel by the shipyard and the construction was carried out under the supervision of the classification society, Det Norske Veritas.
The final works will be carried out at Karstensens Skibsværft AS in Denmark.
