Nesco Weighing has further developed its highly successful Wavecheetah on board weighing and catch information system to include the ability for sending haul information ashore easily and cost effectively with the aid of off the shelf electronic equipment.
According to the company, this new development allows the user to complete a haul, storing the catch information in the memory as with previous models, then downloading this information to a readily available handheld data capture system.
This handheld device can be configured upon purchase to convert the incoming catch information from Wavecheetach into a text file.
Once this is achieved, the handheld unit can then download information to a suitabley equipped mobile phone.
Now, using the in built modem functionc of the telephone, the catch information can be sent to any email address.
