Previda is an all natural prebiotic consisting of hemicelluloses extract that provides intestinal health for a variety of species. Its high level of soluble dietary fibre has been tested and shown to provide digestive health benefits. Studies also suggest Previda impacts gut microflora and boosts immune systems leading to healthier shrimp and fish.

Thad Simons, president and CEO, Novus, said: "Novus is proud to receive the New Product Innovation award from Frost & Sullivan. We're equally humbled by this recognition because our mission is not to seek awards for what we do; rather it is to focus on sustainably meeting the growing global need for health and nutrition. We're excited about offering our customers the health and nutrition solutions associated with feeding Previda."

The award will be presented by global market research organisation Frost & Sullivan. The organisation chose Novus’ Previda product after a decision support matrix (DSM) covering five criteria, including innovative element of the product, leverage of leading edge technologies, value added features and benefits, increased customer ROI and customer acquisition and penetration potential.
