Notus Electronics Ltd. of Canada, which manufactures wireless net monitoring equipment for the commercial fishing industry, including Trawlmaster single and twin rig trawlers and the Seinemaster for purse seiners, has opened a full sales and service depot to service the UK. Located in Fraserburgh, Northeast Scotland, the office is managed by James Masson who has been a fisherman for 19 years of his career.
Notus says it has an active distribution/service network in Canada, New Zealand, Spain, Ireland, Denmark, Holland.
Notus says its products use only the most advanced hydroacoustic technology and offer captains a unique solution for monitoring their fishing gear. For example, on twin rig vessels the Trawlmaster provides distances to the doors/clump, spread on each trawl and a middle wire adjustment.
