Industry Database

Girteka Logistics will be present at Seafood Processing Global to present its transportation solutions for fresh, frozen or packaged seafood products.

The company provides services from land cargo to freight forwarding and cold storage in its warehouses, and is a well-known service provider in the fish industry.

Girteka Logistics has a modern fleet of reefer trailers that are one of the largest in Europe. Its new and modern reefer trailers can handle temperature ranges from -25°C to +25°C, and all trailers are equipped with thermographs & T-Bars.

The company says that its clients in the fish industry do not only want shipments at the right time and competitive prices – they also want to ensure that environmental concerns are addressed.

Measures to minimise adverse impacts on human health and the environment are taken throughout the value chain. This includes minimising pollution, promoting an efficient and sustainable use of resources (including energy and water), and minimising greenhouse gas emissions in transport.

To lower the impact on the environment, Girteka Logistics aims to use only new, Euro 5 and Euro 6 emission class trucks, and other eco-friendly equipment in the fish industry.
