The 74.7 Andenesfisk I is the last in a line of five trawlers to be delivered to Norway by Tersen. The first four, Havbryn, Havstrand, Volstad and Atlantic Viking were delivered to their new owners Volstand and Giske Havfiske earlier this year within a period of ten months.

Nurettin Paksu, group president, Tersan, said: “We are very sure that with sustained success of these recent deliveries, our cooperation with Norway will steadily increase and we will take a larger chunk of the Norwegian ship building market.”

Andenesfisk I is equipped with a fillet fish process plant and is outfitted with electric motor driven fishing winches on deck. It has the latest selective catalyst reduction system on the exhaust line to achieve IMO Tier III.

The vessel’s length overall is 74.70m with a gross tonnage of 3549 tonnes.

Its main engine is a 4500kW 4 stroke MDO engine from Wärtsilä and it has rotary vane steering gear from Rolls-Royce. The fillet process plant is supplied by Optimar.

The vessel will be able to handle about 80 tonnes of fish per day and has a freezing capacity of 1700 cubic metres.
