Iceland’s Trefjar Ltd, builder of the Cleopatra Range of fast fishing, charter angling, harbour launches, survey vessels and general workboats, has signed an exclusive agreement with Devon-based WaterMota Ltd to look after its interests in the UK and the Republic of Ireland.
With over 300 Trefjar Cleopatra's vessels built and supplied to the commercial sector, Trefjar already has 10% of these operating around the coast of the UK and Republic of Ireland. The Cleopatra range, now available in the UK and Ireland, is available in three different sizes - 38, 33 and 26 feet.
WaterMota has many years experience in this market sector with team members who have been boat builders, boat operators and engine and equipment suppliers. Although the company is the UK and Republic of Ireland distributors of the popular Doosan Daewoo range of engines, the majority of the existing UK-based Trefjar vessels are powered by Cummins and Perkins units. WaterMota will continue to supply the Trefjar range with Cummins, Caterpillar, Perkins, Volvo Penta or whatever engine the customer prefers.
