Salmon processing company Morpol has announced that the US sales office, Morpol America, will close on 30 August 2013.
Morpol will revert to servicing the US market directly from the main sales office in Poland. As a consequence of the closure, Morpol America’s Managing Director, Tara Vail will leave the Morpol Group.
"Morpol is very appreciative of Tara’s contribution and the hard work she has put in over the last two years. We wish her very well for the future," says John-Paul McGinley, chief executive officer.
Morpol serves customers across Europe, in Japan and the United States with smoked, marinated, fresh and frozen salmon products prepared and packaged to appeal to consumers and for convenience in use.
