The Fish Company has announced that fishmonger James Knight of Mayfair is now stocking its British tilapia.

Ms Hudd is confident that British tilapia is soon going to be a firm favourite with British chefs and consumers: “Tilapia appears in the top five most popular fish in the USA, but until recently has proved less popular in the UK. However, with chefs such Pascal Proyart at the One-O-One restaurant adding it to the range offered in his new Sustainable Fish menu, and Steve Munkley at the Royal Garden Hotel adding the fish to his main restaurant offering, we hope that the UK consumer will start to choose tilapia as a great sustainable alternative.”
