Last week the ISSF hosted a special seminar in Madrid for Spanish supermarket representatives to discuss the challenges facing tuna conservation and opportunities for reducing the impact fishing has on the environment.
Beyond educating retailers on the current state of tuna stocks, the workshop discussed other environmental concerns associated with fishing and the efforts to tackle them, including bycatch.
