Illegal fishing in Lyme Bay protected area costs Teignmouth couple £7,030

A Teignmouth boat-owning couple have been found guilty of their vessel fishing in the Lyme Bay Designated Area.

Mr and Mrs Boyne were each fined £2,000 ($3,100/€2400) for early guilty pleas. They were also each ordered to pay £1,500 ($2,350/€1,800) towards prosecution costs and a £15 victim surcharge.
