Ibercisa Deck Machinery is back at work after a brief period of obligatory closure as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The company’s technical, sales and aftersales departments remained open, working remotely and at full capacity.
"There is a lot of work to accomplish before a project materialises," explained a spokesperson for the deck machinery company, based in Vigo in northwest Spain.
"During this time we have learnt to communicate and coordinate in a more advanced fashion, implementing all the technology we had previously developed. Contact with our clients and associates around the world gives us a clear idea as to the state of our marine industry and to establish plans and networks between clients, associates and ourselves as suppliers in order to bring our projects to a gradual end."
“If we wish to draw any positive conclusions from this situation within our own working environment, it is that we have, without doubt, strengthened our ties with our clients and associates as we are submerged in a context which requires us to be more greatly implicated and connected; the sentiment is mutual and the effort therefore, much greater,” he added.
