Navigation aid supplier, Hydrosphere UK Ltd, has confirmed it will be attending Seawork 2009.
The Hampshire, UK, based company will be using this year's to demonstrate its growing range of buoys, lights and auxiliary navigation products from Carmanah, Mobilis and Vega Industries.
Says Andy Reid, managing director, Hydrosphere UK Ltd: "We are very pleased to be exhibiting at Seawork 2009. The exhibition is always a busy event for Hydrosphere and is a good barometer for the industry in terms of innovation and the state of the market. This year, we will be exhibiting flagship products drawn from right across our product range. We will have exciting new products to launch at the show, which will reaffirm that the companies whom we are proud to represent, are indeed leaders in their industry."
Centre stage will be a Mobilis JET 2500 FB buoy ideal for rough exposed drying locations, as proven by the successful deployment of a similar buoy at the entrance to Wells Next The Sea last year. There will also be an extensive range of lights from Vega and Carmanah including the new self contained solar lights, LED sector lights, aeronautical obstruction lights and LED beacons.
Continues Mr Reid: "We will also have a live demonstration of Vega's latest version of its Vegaweb monitoring system on display at Seawork. The Vegaweb system is a remote monitoring, logging and control system. It is a robust low power system designed specifically for use on buoys and fixed aids to navigation. Data communication is transmitted via GPRS or Orbcomm satellites whilst user-set alarms are sent by GSM, email or landline telephone. Information such as light character, power consumption, solar charging, battery condition, buoy position, impacts etc. is logged at regular intervals and can be readily accessed by authorised personnel in the harbour or marine authority."
