As one of its latest features Haarslev is delivering Mechanical Vapour Recompression Evaporators which only use steam for starting up.
Then the heat is taken over of large fans and the plant is running. These type of evaporators are used in countries where the electric energy is cheap such as in France and Iceland.
The company has been developing its Steam Driers for over 25 years in the meat and bone meal plants.
In the last tree years, it has sold them to fishmeal plants world wide and of course in Norway and Iceland. According to our customers the quality of the driers and the capacity are surprisingly good. So the company expecting to increase its share of the marked in the future.
Using its years of experience in designing driers, meat cookers and other machines the design of our modern Fish Cookers has proven to have the good quality and capacity as well.
Haarslev's policy is to become more automated.
Furthermore the company has installed welding robots in its factory to cut down the welding time and to get a better quality of the welding. A year ago the company's design office moved from 2D designing to 3D designing. This has given Haarslev better quality in our design material and decreased the fails in the production, which ends up in lower productions costs and a lower price to the customer.
The company has been expanding for three years in a row, extending its workshop to 16,200 m2.
