Furuno has established a branch in Panama with the aim of strengthening sales and support, and to take advantage of opportunities offered by the Panama Canal expansion.
Furuno Panama has been set up by Furuno USA, a subsidiary of the parent company in Japan, and the new branch of the company in Panama is already active
According to Furuno Panama, the new company expects its business to focus on the merchant fleet as well as the fishing industry, taking advantage of parent company Furuno USA’s longstanding knowledge and experience in these fields.
“Furuno USA is engaged in sales and service of our marine products as well as communications and GNSS solutions in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Caribbean Islands, and South America,” the company states.
“Furuno USA will support the launch of Furuno Panama by placing a strong emphasis on building close relationships with our customers and expanding business with a focus on enhanced customer service.”
