Kirsanov has been in the position of deputy CEO since March 2017 and under his supervision RFC launched a large-scale new fleet construction project within a very short time period, said the company.

RFC stated that the “RFC Board of Directors expressed confidence that under the leadership of Fedor Kirsanov the company will continue successful development, implementing large-scale and ambitious projects.”

With more than 10 years of experience in leadership positions, Kirsanov has previously been deputy director general of OMZ; general manager and deputy general director, purchasing at Polyus Gold; and chairman of Central Purchasing Comission.

Kirsanov takes over from Andrey Teterkin, who ran the company from November 2012. Major RFC shareholder Gleb Frank expressed gratitude to Teterkin, noting that during his leadership period RFC demonstrated efficient and dynamic growth, becoming one of the Russian fishery industry leaders and a significant player in the global white wild fish market.
