Employees have been honoured for long service at Falfish

Seven employees were honoured for dedicating more than 110 years of service between them, with awards presented by Fallfish managing director, Mark Greet, and chairman, Ian Greet.

The long service awards were given to employees who had reached a 10, 15, 25 or 30 year milestone with the company. Each employee received a piece of personalised engraved lead crystal , vouchers and a cash gift.

Simon Chenoweth, accounts manager at Falfish was rewarded for 25 years service, having joined the company in 1986. He said: “I’m lucky enough to be in the position of having a job I love with a company I hope to stay with forever. It’s definitely a good thing to be recognised for the work you put in, I think it’s very empowering for the staff.”

Mark Greet, managing director at Falfish, said: “We recognise that the successful growth of the company is dependent on the efforts of our employees in providing an excellent service to our customers.”

Falfish is the largest seafood processor in the south west of the UK. The family-run business sources and supplies major UK and European retailers, with many fish caught locally from inshore boats off the coast of Cornwall and Devon.
