The Icelandic Minister of Fisheries and Agriculture, Jón Bjarnason, presented the award at a special ceremony to mark the occasion. Mr Bergmann thanked LIU for the honor and acknowledgement he has received with the award.

During the ceremony it was revealed that the use of the elCorrectTM system onboard fishing vessels has not only cut down on various electrical distortions and interferences, but also led to more than a 10% reduction in fuel consumption and lowering of emissions.

HBT International's elCorrectTM system is a unique technology that provides green energy saving and distortion elimination solutions for electrical systems. The benefits of the elCorrectTM system include dramatic reductions in fuel consumption, increased effectiveness of equipment, higher profitability, stability and efficiency of operations and a much cleaner carbon footprint.
