Argentinian shipyard Contessi is to debut at IceFish, showcasing its capacity, expertise and new vessel availability

“Despite a macroeconomic slowdown that has adjusted the pace of local fleet updates, the shipyard remains active with three deliveries scheduled for 2026,” said president, Domingo J. Contessi.

“Currently, we have immediate availability for new construction, offering specialised expertise and competitive solutions for vessels between 20 and 40 metres in length.”

The yard transitioned from early wooden vessels to naval steel and marine-grade aluminium, and today operates four industrial buildings capable of constructing up to eight ships simultaneously. Each vessel is delivered fully completed and sails under its own power on launch day, ready for operations.

The company emphasises high-quality workmanship, attention to detail and ongoing technological integration, supported by a workforce combining experienced professionals and newly trained specialists.

While all vessels are designed by its in-house naval engineers, the yard can also build to external specifications.
