STEEN F.P.M. International has been active in the fish processing industry for more than 55 years and has now stepped away from conventional designs and developed a new generation pinbone remover for the professional user.

Noticing a hole in the market for a powerful and industrial device, development began for a machine where a powerful motor and reliable propulsion are implemented. As with all of its machines, STEEN, uses the best available materials, ensuring quality and durability for a longer machinery lifetime.

Now, the new model ST591 is in full production and available worldwide and helps companies to remove the pinbones faster whilst ensuring a high quality of finished product.

What makes this machine even more interesting is that, as well as working perfectly on salmon, the machine can also de-bone certain other fish species with very good results – either for de-boning whole (salmon) fillets or just removing the neckbones after automatic pinbone removal.
