At Seafood Processing Global, Heinen Freezing will be exhibiting its spiral system for the entire fish industry.

The spiral system

The spiral system

The exhibit is similar to the company’s smallest cooling and freezing spiral compact, which is a pre-mounted system, fully assembled on a base frame and ready for use for production of all types of fish products - whole fish, fish fillets, fish fingers etc. - up to 800kg/h.

The machine is made from stainless steel, optionally equipped with a cleaning system which can either consist of a pump unit for increasing pressure generating foam, an upgraded extended version, or even a fully integrated cleaning system that cleans the entire interior in addition to the belt and the conveyor system.

The company says that another important feature to meet highest hygienic standards is the hygienic cabling option. Hygienic cabling means that all cables from the consumer are routed out of the insulated housing via the shortest possible route. Outside the housing the cables are routed using the ‘single cable layering’ process. They are collected via a bus system and routed to the control cabinet. This way the overall cable length within the system and the necessary installation technology (grids, individual cable ducts, etc.) is reduced. The remaining cables outside of the insulated housing are routed in open special steel grids and mounted with spacers in a manner that is easy and optimised cleaning can be achieved.

Combined with the fully welded insulated housing, which is placed on the flat floor of the building, as well as a base frame or concrete foundations, Heinen Freezing says that the system offers the highest possible hygiene standards for food production.
