Amongst the products Securitas will be presenting at Icefish 2008 is the Stat-X aerosol fire suppressant system from Fireaway LCC. The Stat-X systems are very suitable for vessels up to 24m. It is ecologically safe and 10 times as effective as halon replacements, with zero ozone depletion and no global warming potential.
Installation of the Stat-X system requires no pressure vessels, manifolds, nozzles or pipe work, factors which result in significant installation and maintenance savings to customers.
