Canadian company Notus Electronics Ltd has made an agreement with O. M. Rønning AS to distribute Notus net monitoring solutions in Norway.
After visiting Notus at Fishing 2008 in Scotland and seeing the success that Notus has had in the UK, O. M. Rønning AS decided to take the Notus products onboard.
O. M. Rønning AS is located in Hammerfest, Norway and focuses on commercial marine electronics.
Both the Notus Seinemaster and Trawlmaster will be distributed. The Seinemaster is a net monitoring system for purse seiners that provides distance, depth and temperature information from one sensor. The Trawlmaster is a complete net monitoring system for single, twin and other multi-rig trawls.
O. M. Rønning AS has already taken orders for Notus in Norway, with the first installation underway.
