In keeping with this spirit, Marel Food System has redesigned its renowned floor scale.
The new PL7000 floor scale has been specifically designed for the food processing industry and can handle most weighing jobs
The main strength of the PL7000 is its hygienic design. To ensure ease of cleaning, there are no hollow spaces inside the undercarriage and horizontal surfaces are minimal. The scale is a 'flip-up' which makes it easy to reach every corner, which in turn facilitates cleaning and servicing. It can be washed with soap and water.
The PL7000 is both used as floor scale, placed on rubber caps, and as a pit-scale. Ramps are available to make it easier to drive smaller fork lifts (under 1500kg) or any other equipment onto the scale.
The size of the scale is 1250mm x 1500mm and the maximum weight is 1500kg. The accuracy is 0.2kg for weights up to 600kg and 0.5kg there above. The scale fulfills the IP69K standard and has been approved by EU authorities.
