The first half of 2016 has been very busy for Tucal, with many diverse supplies for customers all over the world.
The company has manufactured plate freezers for customers in Lithuania, Portugal, the United Kingdom, the Dominican Republic, Poland and Spain. These ammonia compact plate freezers with the minimum loading of refrigerant are now running successfully and many customers have shown interest in this recently developed system.
Tucal technicians are currently completing the start-up of a blast freezer in Mauritania which has capacity for 20 tons of fish per day (in seven-hour cycles). This blast freezer is identical to another one supplied to the same customer in 2012/2013.
In addition to this, Tucal has also supplied ice machines, mostly for service onboard. The company will soon be delivering a series of three ton ice machines that will be installed onboard fishing vessels in Hawaii.
