Leading Electronic Chart Manufacturer C-Map has launched a new card featuring details to cover the whole of the UK, Ireland and the Northern French Coast.

The new MegaWide card will have all the detail of MAX neatly stored on it, whereas previously it had been necessary to purchase two individual cards. Users may benefit now in two ways: they have the convenience of just the one card, and also a large saving on costs.
The new MegaWide card is ideal for any keen sailor, motorboater or fisherman who is serious about sailing within the UK and Ireland. Users will benefit from the very latest in C-Map MAX technology, with features such as live navigation aids that flash as the cursor comes within the range of lights, buoys and channel markers. There's also tidal predictions showing the strength and direction of the tide as it is now, or for any future date/time, multi-coloured land elevation and depth contours, aerial images of port entrances, dynamic representations of the surrounding waters, with striking, colourful detail at quickly refreshed speeds, and a wealth of up to date pilotage and harbour information collected from the marina operators themselves.
The new C-Map MAX MegaWide card retails for £209.00 + VAT. This represents a considerable saving on costs, as this new card costs the same as just one of the previous MegaWide cards, which would have only covered half the area.
