Cosalt has reached agreement with maritime equipment store N1 Industrial in Peterhead, UK, to be the official distributor for Cosalt''s marine safety products and services in the area.
Carol MacDonald, runs N1 Industrial: "This is great news for the fishermen that use Peterhead and Fraserburgh. It means N1 Industrial is now an official distributor for RFD, Beaufort and DSB liferafts. We can supply, hire and service these products."
Ms MacDonald is also expecting the service to attract the attention of fishing vessels on the west coast of Scotland that might find it more convenient and closer to deal with Peterhead than Cosalt's Edinburgh branch.
As well as stocking a complete range of Cosalt marine safety products, including lifejackets, pyrotechnics, fibre ropes and flotation clothing, N1 Industrial can supply both the on- and offshore commercial fishing industry with general chandlery, fixings and fastenings, PPE and the servicing of fire safety systems.
