Aucxis launched A-Fish in October, a back office package for fish auctions that not only covers the complete administration of invoices and payments, but also facilitates all other administrative and logistic tasks performed by fish auction staff.
The package hinges on a central module which manages data from all those connected with the auction: buyers, suppliers, producer organisations, fish box collectors, transporters etc. It is smoothly integrated within the Aucxis auction system or that of another supplier; as soon as a transaction is made on the auction system, it will be automatically available on A-Fish.
Based on the criteria defined in the extensive cost management module, costs are calculated in real time informing suppliers of their turnover and buyers of their purchase amounts.
A-Fish also includes a complete fish box management module; based on fish box locations, activities triggered by sales transactions, and manually inputted or RFID scanned fish box information, the auction will know, at any time, the fish box stocks of all different parties involved.
During the conceptual development of the package, special attention was given to the creation of all the necessary reports and statistics required by fish auctions. They are immediately generated within search criteria provided by the users. An extensive traceability module facilitates the retrieval of all historical data. A-Fish is entirely compatible with Microsoft software; all reports can be exported to Excel and Word.
