ARCOS' thawing solution

The company offers a thawing solution by ventilation. The frozen blocks are arranged on trolleys inside a thawing chamber and fans send humid and controlled air across the product.

The thermal transfer between the air and product is by powerful and uniform aeration, as well as steam. Air is moisturised by direct injection of steam or by brumisation, according to the programmed temperature. Besides the optimisation of the thermal transfer, the dehydration of the thawed product is limited.

Integrated refrigerated equipment permanently adjusts to the surrounding temperature so that the temperature of the product surface never exceeds the defined temperature, avoiding bacteriological risks.
