Italian company Luciano Cocci has launched a new product line for weighing shellfish.
Its Economy Weight multihead weigher comprises an innovative feeding system design and a special product distribution system which the manufacturer said ensures that shellfish do not break or snap in the multihead weigher, working normally even with non-debyssed mussels or 5-6 pieces clusters.
In addition, advanced software allows the system to maximize the weighing accuracy, intelligently unloading weigher cups and conveying the product to the Economy Bag.
The Economy Bag packing machine has become an industrial standard in the shellfish packing field. Through a series of patented mechanisms it tightens the shellfish in the plastic tubular net, from 27 to 55 bags per minute, without risk of breaking the bags.
