Frydenbø Power is establishing a sales and service office in Bergen, in order to strengthen its services to customers in the marine industry along the western coast of Norway.
Frydenbø Power, a subsidiary of the Frydenbø Industri Corporation, is one of Norway’s leading sales and service companies for diesel engines, propulsion systems, turbochargers, fuel equipment, engine measurement systems and electrical power gen-sets/electrical motors.
The company currently employs 48 staff at its headquarters in Skedsmokorset, just outside Oslo. Frydenbø Power provides service to customers throughout Norway and to Norwegian ships abroad. With the new expansion, it will secure itself a local presence closer to Norway’s western shoreline.
Managing director, Petter Hesstvedt, says "Frydenbø Power will now be closer to our customers, allowing us to meet their needs more efficiently and become more locally engaged."
