The 6th Offshore Mariculture Conference will take place at Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico from 21–24 September 2015. The conference will examine the prospects and provide practical solutions to issues around farming offshore in Mexico.

The programme will cover the latest legislation, investment and financing opportunities together with the day to day practicalities of running an offshore business from setting up, gaining financing, funding and permits and establishing hatcheries, identifying species to farm, to the marketing of the end product to identified markets. Overall the conference will look to give practical advice to anyone looking to set up, expand or invest in the Mexican mariculture sector, whilst keeping a close eye on the differences between inland, coastal and offshore farming and the many species available.
