Wise will present the newest version of WiseFish, Wise Analyzer and Wise Connector software that uses the latest technology from Microsoft at IceFish.
“The main objective of the new system is to use the latest Microsoft technology, such as Windows, Dynamics NAV and Office 365 to increase simplicity and ease of use,” says Jón Heidar Pálsson, head of Wise’s sales and marketing department.
“The key is to run Dynamics NAV and WiseFish in Microsoft Azure, where we have a set-up of the standard system, and we can help companies to get started with the whole solution including Office 365 in days, instead of weeks as before. This means less cost for the customer as there is no set-up of servers or complicated set-up for accessing the system from any location and for Wise to be able to help with support, both with local Microsoft partners and our customers WW”, said Mr Pálsson.
WiseFish supports the entire value chain, from capture to third-party sales, making it a total package solution. The system is fully traceable, allowing both sellers and buyers to answer questions from consumers regarding the quality and origin of products.
A fishing certificate that fulfils the requirements of the European Union for electronic communication with the Fishing Office regarding origin, information and certificates of origin for export is also included in WiseFish. Therefore it is always easy to trace the process from capture to final consumer and information can easily be accessed regarding the vessel, fishing dates and fish types.
