The VT, Vogt Ice’s economical industrial ice machine, is an all-purpose solution for producing hard, cracked ice ideal for high requirement applications such as aquaculture, seafood, poultry, packers and industrial processors.
Water sprays the inside and outside of the freezing surface and ice is formed on both the inside and outside evaporator walls. This double surface freezing maximises ice production with a fast recovery cycle. No moving parts in the freezing zone keeps maintenance to a minimum and with no complicated refrigeration system to foul up, dependable performance is ensured.
The VT-Series is made with Vogt’s traditional unitised chassis construction, which consists of welded Type-304 stainless steel. The VT-Series’ unique water distribution system is blow moulded, low density polyethylene and designed for easy to removal and cleaning. The water tank and integrated ice chute are of similar monolithic, low-density polyethylene materials for long life and durability.
