The first of the Skipskompetanse-designed vessels, Leninets and Kommandor, were delivered last year. The third vessel, Udarnik, is now completing shipyard trials and is being prepared for sea trials.

This series of vessels is built to be capable of pelagic and demersal trawling, seine netting and purse seining, with catches held in each vessel’s 700-tonne capacity RSW tanks.

The SK-3101R project vessels have a 50.60 metre overall length, with a 12 metre beam and a 2200kW main engine

The contract for the three vessels was placed in January 2016, and this has been a unique project, delivering the first new fishing vessels in twenty years built at a Russian shipyard for a domestic customer.

Udarnik’s keel was laid at the yard in early 2017 and it was launched for fitting out in mid-2018.
