The UK’s iconic fish and chip sector is set to celebrate its rising talent, with the shortlisting of five new businesses for the prestigious Newcomer of the Year award at the 2026 National Fish & Chip Awards. The accolade recognises chippies that have opened their doors since January 2024 and have already demonstrated outstanding quality, operational excellence and industry know-how.
