Lisa Hubert has joined Biomega Group’s board

“Lisa’s breadth of knowledge in financial investment, especially from an environmental perspective, positions her as an excellent asset to the board, enabling biomega to continue to improve upon its environmental footprint and strengthen its vision to be the trusted, inspiring and preferred ingredients partner for the health and nutrition industry,” said Sten Estrup, chair of the board of directors at Biomega Group.

A trademark of Biomega Group, biomega transforms Atlantic Norwegian salmon raw material into food, pet food and aquafeed ingredients through a technique called continuous enzymatic hydrolysis.

Lisa has more than 15 years’ experience management investments in sustainable agriculture, forestry and infrastructure, holding several board seats in blue economy companies.

In addition to her new role on the Biomega Group board, she is currently a board member at insect protein producer, nextProtein, Vietnamese marine biotech company, Aquaproducts, and Mexican seafood processing company, Marativa.

“It is a great honour to join the Biomega Group board of directors,” said Lisa.

“Together with Kjarten Sandnes, Hege Charlotte Bakken, Tanja Hoel, Craig Armen Tashjian and Sten Estrup, the board is supporting biomega’s global expansion in sustainable salmon peptides, proteins and oils production as the company looks to strengthen its presence in key markets such as China and the US.”
