Following its best ever first six months, the world’s leading producer has its sights set on a 2025 total of 1.5 million tonnes

Ecuador exported an unprecedented 719,153 tonnes of shrimp in the first-half of 2025 – some 17% more than it shipped to overseas markets in the corresponding period of 2025, finds new industry analysis from Shrimp Insights.
