Scanvaegt has launched its new ScanWi 411 Weighing Indicator which its says is tough enough to withstand the harsh environment of food production processing in a fully waterproof stainless steel cabinet. Operators can be taught to use it in minutes.
A company statement added that it can be used for different floor and bench, scale-weighing tasks such as: check weighing -- to check that a product is within accepted underweight/overweight limits, and the system uses a colour display; packing -- for packing products to target weight with +/- limits (also with colour display); manual grading for grading products by weight in up to 9 weight zones and reverse weighing.
Its filter stabilising software makes the scales very fast and steady, even in the presence of vibrations from a table or other machines that would normally make scales unstable, the company said.
