Production in Lithuania

This company have bought a factory building of approx. 30.000 m2 in Alytus, only 100 km from Vilnius. At Randers Reb Production we will manufacture steel wire ropes, combination ropes and rope works for the other companies in the group, which all are involved in sales activities of these products.

In Denmark, we close down the production but to assure the high quality of our ropes, our new Lithuanian colleagues will be thought how to manufacture the high quality ropes at the factory in Randers -- the quality that we are know for all over the world -- on our existing machinery.

Also, we will be stationing several people from our Danish production at the new factory.

We are already repairing the new buildings in Alytus that will be ready to be taken into use late summer this year. And we will move our machines successively -- in that way we will assure that we during the move out always have production capacity in Lithuania and Denmark.

Randers Reb A/S will move from the historic buildings on the street Vinkelvej in Randers and a new headquarters will be established in the spring of 2003 in the Randers area, close to road transport routes.

In addition, Fyns Kran Udstyr has merged with the parent company Randers Reb, and from 24th May it continues operations under the name Fyns Kran Lifting as a business area under Randers Reb.
