Macduff shipyards limited are based in the North East of Scotland and specialise in building, repairing and refitting a wide range of vessels from wood, aluminium and steel.

Shipbuilding and ship repair of vessels in wood, aluminium and steel, 10m to 60m. Also specialise in metal profiling, precision machine engineering, offshore fabrications and crane hire. The company was established over 80 years ago building small wooden fishing vessels for local owners ago and has since grown into a large company of over 200 employees with facilities in three major Scottish ports, Macduff, Buckie and Fraserburgh. The yard can accommodate new builds primarily in steel between 10m up to 35m in length of various types and can assist with the design of vessels. Deck machinery packages are available with the yard producing many winches and net drums for fishing vessels and workboats. The yard also stocks a range of Mane-bar Deep Sea Seals and Manecraft high speed seals. CNC profiling of sheet metal is available from Macduff Profilers who can handle material 12m long x 3m wide and up to 150 mm thick. Macduff Precision Engineering operate a modern machine shop with CNC lathes, millars, horizontal borer and slotters and have a vast experience in produced high quality components for all industries. Crane hire is available from Macduff Crane Hire who own and operate a fleet of 10 mobile cranes with a capacity of 40t up to 160t.
